- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆August 10,2017 1:30 pm Stopped by to try and get some information of the requirements for a mail box on a rural road; the lady was a bit rude in that all she could say was since I didn't have an address they couldn't deliver. Well I don't want any mail delivered as I haven't built yet. I just want to know the requirements as to where, how high, and whatever else I need to know. The only info I got was that it needed to be 44 inches high. So I guess it doesn't matter where I put the box just so as it is 44 inches above ground. And the carrier is on vacation so apparently no mail is delivered till he returns as she wouldn't even give me a approximate time when I could catch the carrier to ask. Said she didn't have any knowledge of the info I needed. I kinda got that she doesn't know much.By John Branch, November 28, 2016
